In the middle of SO MUCH HOMEWORK, ahhhh!!
How's everyone? I've been trying to keep up with BBMing Bri, Taylor, and Ana, but things have been so insane.
But . . . Whisper and I had the BEST practice session yesterday! Mr. Conner had us jump in the indoor arena. You guys know jumping is still scary for me, but it felt like Whisper knew and she took care of me. We made it around the course and didn't knock a rail. :D
I can't wait for you guys to get caught up on my life when you read INITIATION. Then I can REALLY spill about what's been going on. It's been so hard to keep stuff a secret because I don't want to give anything away. Jan 3 isn't far off! Plus, I think it'll be out maybe a week or two early. :)

P.S. Just read an *AWESOME* book about a horse.... so sad - I bawled my eyes out at the end. Really amazing. Title is CHOSEN BY A HORSE by Susan Richards. Really sad, sweet, and amazing story. Put it on a holiday wish list, guys. Its excellent and the sweetest book. :)
I know how you feel, Laur, it seems like there are 10 quizzes and tests every week for me! So excited for Christmas-I love advent calendars. Does anybody else have one? I wake up every morning and get a chocolate! Yum~ I can't wait to read Initiation! Glad that you're everything is good and Whisper is doing well.

ReplyDeleteHello Lauren! I saw the Initiation trailer and am now dying to read the book (however, I was slightly disappointed that Riley was Lauren's enemy-she looks just like my best friend)! If Initiation does come out early, you can be sure that I'm at Barnes&Noble, snatching it from the shelf. Have a great time a Canterwood Crest, and try not to get brhind on schoolwork! Although it must be hard for you.

I've been riding, too. This weekend I had a horse show with my favorite horse and we did great on the two jumping rounds!

All books make me cry - its either laughing to tears, sad tears, I-love-this-book-so-much tears, or bored to tears. The bored-to-tears books are usually the ones off of Yates' reading list (just saying). Chosen By A Horse was one of those sad-tears ones. And then there's the Canterwood Crest series, the rare I-love-this-book-so-much tears.

So what did you guys think? I agree with the person who said that Clare was really nice.... but it seems as though she's got another side to her. I HATE Riley but she seems tooooo dramatic and competitive. there's got to be something behind that. You know, like a reason.
So in the next chapter just *watch* Laur make the advanced team and watch Riley be like, "WHAT?!?!" If that actually happens, everyone know that I totally sniped that. :)
Ok, so the thing with Khloe was a little weird, like you don't do that as your walking in to meet your roommate. I like her and she's super nice but that kind of ticked me off about her, like she just went ahead and gave my bestie a heart attack for no reason. *Still* suspicious about her, but then again I haven't seen Lauren in forever and am maybe just *maybe* a little jealous. It's the bestie blues.... and I'm not very familiar with it. :)

Oh yeah, I was the one who posted the last comment but I totally remembered something else today. In the trailer, in Chapter 3, direct quote- "I looked at Khloe. Sincerity radiated off of her. Regret and empathy fulled her brown eyes." So, Ana, even if you do have the *bestie blues* which I highly doubt, Khloe was sorry to do that to your bestie. But, Lauren did hardly know Khloe and I guess Khloe thought it would be different to try her acting skills on Lauren.

I just got back from a competition, dressage and jumping...lets just say...TOBY AND I ROCKED IT!!!! Blue ribbons everywhere!!! Not to brag, but it was so much fun! I almost forgot how fun showing was!!!!

I took a sneak peek on chapter 3 on simonandschuster.com! Khole didn't care which side of the room she got. She was only testing her Drama skills because she's on Canterwood's Drama club, and she didn't think she was that good, so she was testing them on Lauren!

Just saying. I then proceeded to give you ittybitty hints about what you got and you obviously took joy in knowing what your gift was about , not after refusing to tell me ANYTHING ABOUT MINE. I then hand-delivered your gift and watched tears well up in your deep brown eyes, as you reveled in the beauty of not only the wrapping paper but the wondrous, marvelous gift I so carefully picked out for you. And you had the nerve to drop mine in the mailbox.

It's tres chic, its a spring green and it's made for both loose tea (it has one of those strainer thingies) and tea bags!!! I LOVE IT! I drank vanilla and hazelnut tea after dinner last night AMAZING!!!
Hope everyone is having a great year so far, mine has sucked, mostly because of this saddle load of drama that's at my school :'( AND I'M IN THE MIDDLE! AAAHHHH Any sugestions how to GET OUT OF IT?!?

OMG!!!!!!! I finished Initiation within a period of 4 hours!!! My previous record has been broken!!! Btw, this is my first time bloggin on this website. I used to ride horses. My horses name was Velvet. He was a bay welsh pony. I've stopped riding because of competition, but I still have a strong love for horses. Now I'm a competitive dancer. Enough talk about me, and on to good old LT!! I totes idol u Lauren and hope to be like you someday!!!!!! UR AWESOME! I know u and Whisper will build up even stronger skills at Canterwood and I look forward to seeing u guys progress in the following books. I just looked at the new covers for the upcoming books today. So rad. Riley=bleh. I don't like her. AT. ALL. I liked Heather a lot, but Riley, in a way, is a little different. Okay, this is just... sad. I mean, Lauren seems super sweet and super awesome, but REALLY? It's been 2 months. 2 MONTHS! Jessica Burkhart might have forgotten about Lauren's blog, but we sure haven't. And I'm pretty sure this blog post has even more comments than the other ones.
